Hardware & Software supply and installation:

Hard Drive imaging:

Anyone who has had a hard drive failure, or needed to rebuild their computer will know how inconvenient this process is ! It's simple to format the hard drive and install the operating system, but after that, system updates, service packs, device drivers and additional software packages (Office, antivirus, business applications) have to be added. This whole process often takes hours, and is normally done off site. With a disk image, a snapshot of your fully configured computer hard drive is taken and stored on an external drive, network share, USB drive or DVD. This image is then available to be restored onto a newly fitted hard drive (after a failure), or should the operating system become corrupt. Restoring a computer in this way usually takes less than 15 minutes, and can be done on site with minimal disruption to staff! Award Technology uses proven open source software, which is free of charge, so there are no licensing requirements and software costs associated with this service.

Hard Drive encryption

Whilst many systems today are purchased with some form of data encryption pre-installed (Microsoft Vista Business and Ultimate versions for example), there are still huge numbers of machines that, although they need it, don't have any! Laptops, at risk form theft or loss, are the obvious example of computers whose data should be protected but more often than not, isn't. Encrypting a folder containing sensitive business information, or even the entire hard drive, isn't difficult to achieve, and doesn't take long to implement. As with other software based services that we offer, Award Technology uses proven open source software, which is simple to manage and maintain, to provide your mobile data with the protection it deserves!

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Software

Every Company need a method to maintain and track its Customers, Prospective Customers, and Suppliers. CRM software is a means to, via a centrally available database, effectively manage all aspects of the business, from initial contact with a prospect, right through the sales cycle, and ordering from suppliers. A good CRM system will improve efficiency of staff, reduce the time required to process inbound and outbound orders, and enhance your relationship with customers and suppliers! There are many CRM products available, most of which are expensive, and generic. Whenever appropriate, as with other software based services that we offer, Award Technology uses proven open source software, such as vTiger to provide a proven CRM platform that can be easily installed, configured, maintained, and developed.
